The festival opens with Norfolk based loud and in your face jazz groove modernists Batfish on the evening of Thursday 4th at Lowestoft's wonderful hidden gem of a bar "The Slounge"

The Pete Roth Trio feat. Bill Bruford
Guitarist Pete Roth and bassist Mike Pratt are joined by drum legend Bill Bruford, one of the world's top rock drummers Bill played with King Crimson, Genesis, Yes, Earthworks, Bruford to name but a few! We are excited and proud to be bringing these great musicians to Lowestoft at this wonderful venue.

Blue Ventura Duo
Blue Ventura are a duo comprising Keith Krykant guitar and John Porter double bass playing their own arrangements of tunes from the Great American Songbook. Keith and John are Lowestoft based and professional musos who have played jazz across the world.

Lowestoft based vocalist Devon Harper accompanied by Stephen Mynott guitar and Maurizio Borgna double bass playing a couple of sets of jazz standards from the Great American Songbook

Kit Downes & Tom Challenger
Berlin resident and multi award winning ECM recording artist Kit Downes was originally from Norwich but now based in Berlin where he records for top jazz label ECM records.He will be playing the church organ in the beautiful medieval St Margarets Church accompanied by fellow ECM artist saxophonist Tom Challenger in what promises to be a unique and wonderful evening. Both have local roots and we are delighted to be bringing them close to home for an evening!

Jazz Barbecue
Locally based sax and bass duo David Boyce and Pete Myatt will be playing a selection of modern jazz and funky standards; Paul Preston-Mills will be entertaining with a selection of jazz 78's and food and drink will be enjoyed in this wonderful space. The garden is at the rear of the Mayfly and has been transformed by volunteers from a patch of rubbish strewn waste ground https://www.themayflylowestoft.co.uk/

Weekend Finale - Milestones Jazz Club (Act TBA)
A wonderful finale to the Jazz Weekend featuring a very special act (details yet to be confirmed) at our wonderful monthly jazz club.

£14 if purchased before 1st August;
£16 if purchased in advance from 1st August and
£18 on the door where available.
