Following a huge success in 2025, Lowestoft Jazz Weekend will return this autumn with another spectacular programme, including internationally-recognised headliners and a series of free-to-access community events. Stay tuned, and we’ll see you in September!
Lowestoft has a history of wonderful live jazz, and Lowestoft Jazz Weekend has been a fixture since 2018. Set up by Bob Blizzard, the festival has since passed to the stewardship of the Seagull Theatre, and now, to a motley group of local volunteers, and continues to go from strength to strength.
This year’s programme will bring internationally-renowned names from the jazz world to Lowestoft for a series of electrifying performances across the town, building on Lowestoft’s vibrant legacy as a cultural destination punching far above its weight.
Lowestoft Jazz Weekend 2026 is made possible by the contributions, efforts, and support of:
Devon Harper / East Coast Jazz / The Hatfield Hotel / Keith Krykant / The Mayfly / Milestones Jazz Club / LOWDOWN / Loyal Friend Projects / Robert Fairclough / The Seagull Theatre / The Slounge / St. Margaret’s Church
